Sexual Health Recovery
Changes in sexual health and intimacy are some of the most common—and least talked about—side effects of cancer and its treatment. Hormonal changes, pain, fatigue, body image shifts, emotional distress, and relationship strain can all affect desire, arousal, function, and connection. If this is something you are experiencing, you are not alone—and it matters.
hrough specialized cancer coaching focused on sexual dysfunction, I provide compassionate, evidence-informed support to help individuals and couples understand what is happening to their bodies and reclaim comfort, confidence, and intimacy. This is a space where difficult or sensitive topics are welcomed, normalized, and addressed without embarrassment or dismissal.
Support may include concerns such as low libido, vaginal dryness or pain, erectile dysfunction, orgasm changes, fertility-related grief, body image challenges, and intimacy after surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, or hormone therapy. Together, we will explore practical strategies, education, and communication tools to help you navigate these changes and advocate for appropriate medical support when needed.
My background as an advanced oncology nurse practitioner, experience in treating sexual dysfunction and gender care at a family practice clinic, and was the resident expert at a collegiate student health center, I bridge the gap between what is discussed in brief medical appointments and the real-life impact of sexual side effects and concerns. Coaching offers the time, privacy, and expertise to talk openly about sexual health—during treatment, recovery, and survivorship—so this important part of your well-being is not overlooked.
Sexual health is part of quality of life. You deserve care that acknowledges the whole person, supports healing, and honors intimacy at every stage of the cancer journey.
